Description
Custom movie search app complete with backend built with MERN stack and OMDb API for movie data. This is a long term project that is a rebuild of an older project, and has been used as a means to learn and apply new concepts.
Users can setup accounts, search movies, create liked lists, write reviews and see what others are watching.
- Built full-stack application using TypeScript, React, MongoDB, Express, and Node.js
- Integrated RTK Query and Redux for state management
- Implemented user authentication and account management
- Created social features including liked lists and movie reviews
- Utilized OMDb API for comprehensive movie data
